Why should I book a professional make-up artist for my wedding?

A professional make–up artist is very important on your wedding
day, especially as many women don’t understand how to or have the
time to apply make-up for their wedding day ceremony or photographs,
and after all the time, emotion and money spent on putting your
wedding day together it’s natural to want every aspect of your
special occasion to be perfect!

I don’t usually wear make-up, will I look like me?

Yes you will look like yourself but more beautiful!

How long does make-up application take?

Please allow at least 30 minutes for your make-up application.

How should I prepare my skin for my consultation?

Please come to your consultation with clean, lightly exfoliated and
moisturised skin. If you wax, it is a good idea to do this a few
days prior.

Once my make-up is done, how will I touch up later?

I am not a sales person and I will not try to sell you products. I
am an artist. For consultations other Bridal, I usually ask you to
bring a range of your favourite lipsticks and lip glosses. I will
then choose one that suits the look I have created so you can carry
use it later on for touching up... that way there is no extra
expense to you!

What should I do first ...my make-up or my hair?

It is best to have your make-up done last so that it compliments
your hair and looks as fresh as possible before your event.

If my booking is at your studio, where will I park?

There is plenty of free parking at my studio.

All the product that I use are of a very good quality and I have
tried and tested over many years and they are products that I trust
and personally use myself.

What should I bring to my make up trial consultation?

Collect pictures from magazines so that I can get an idea of the
look that you want to create.
Keep in mind that your wedding is not the time to start experimenting,
stick to an enhanced version of you every day self. If you have already
chosen your wedding dress please bring a photo of your wedding dress
so I can get an idea about your wedding style and colour, and let me
know whether you are going to wear your hair up or down.
Knowing the colour of your attendants dresses and flowers and other
wedding essentials will help me to create your own unique look.
